Characteristics of the machine

The precision and solidity of workmanship puts it at the forefront of band saws with such a large cutting capacity of 230x300 mm and at any angle from 0 to 45 degrees. The CORMAK BS 912B band saw, thanks to innovative improvements in combination with bimetallic blades of the renowned German company RONTGEN, is widely used in all locksmith shops where precision, quality, accuracy and speed of cutting are important. The massive, stable and refined structure and the arm made of a single cast iron cast provides the machine with very high rigidity and stability during cutting, which results in cutting precision and long trouble-free operation. The construction and the use of a 27 mm wide cutting band enables the full performance of multi-series cuts of both profiles and full details. The material to be cut can be fed manually or by any mechanical device. However, the tool feed is automatic. The speed of lowering the arm is regulated by a hydraulic actuator. The appropriate speed of lowering the arm is obtained thanks to the valve regulating the flow of oil between the cylinder chambers. The desired linear speed of the belt is achieved by changing the gear ratio on the pulleys between the worm gear and the drive motor. The base has a coolant tank with an electro pump. The cutting angle is set with a rotary vice in the range from 0 - 45 The appropriate speed of the arm drop is achieved thanks to the valve regulating the oil flow between the actuator chambers. The desired linear speed of the belt is achieved by changing the gear ratio on the pulleys between the worm gear and the drive motor. The base has a coolant tank with an electro pump. The cutting angle is set with a rotary vice in the range from 0 - 45 The appropriate speed of the arm drop is achieved thanks to the valve regulating the oil flow between the actuator chambers. The desired linear speed of the belt is achieved by changing the gear ratio on the pulleys between the worm gear and the drive motor. The base has a coolant tank with an electro pump. The cutting angle is set with a rotary vice in the range from 0 - 45° . The massive walls of the vices are made of resistant cast iron. There is an angular scale on the back of the vice for convenient and quick setting of the cutting angle. Both belt guides are equipped with a cooling system that feeds the coolant to the belt and the cut element. This model of the cutter is equipped with a comfortable handle for tensioning the tape and a quick clamping of a vice (part of the cut). On the machine arm we have a belt tension indicator and a table for selecting the belt teeth and cutting speed depending on the type of steel to be cut. In the lower position of the arm (after cutting the material), the saw band drive is automatically switched off by a new generation limit switch.
Safety during the cutting process is ensured by the electrical installation that meets all CE requirements. The machine has a limit switch that stops the machine after finishing the cutting process, an emergency switch, the so-called "Safety mushroom", a series of micro-switches that turn off the machine when, for example, we open the cover of the belt transmission or the cover of the cutting band. In addition, our machine model is equipped with a wire brush that cleans the saw blade from chips - this prevents the blade from clogging and gives more effective cutting. The belt guides are equipped with special carbide inserts and bearings. This has a huge impact on the belt guiding, its service life, straightness, accuracy and quality of the cut. Carbide guide reduces the wear of the machine and the blade itself to a great extent !!! The arm made of profiled nodular cast iron ensures rigidity during operation and absorbs all kinds of vibrations. The control panel is placed on the cutter's arm.
